Offcanvas Section

You can publish whatever you want in the Offcanvas Section. It can be any module or particle.

By default, the available module positions are offcanvas-a and offcanvas-b but you can add as many module positions as you want from the Layout Manager.

You can also add the hidden-phone module class suffix to your modules so they do not appear in the Offcanvas Section when the site is loaded on a mobile device.

Frequently Asked Questions about Jameson Court

  • What time is check in? +

    Check-in is at 3pm. However, if you arrive in Galway earlier, you are very welcome to drop your bags off with us at Reception at any time after 9am or to park the car in our Car park.

  • What time is check out? +

    You need to check-out from our Jameson Court serviced apartments by 11 am.

    Feel free to leave your bags with us at Reception (available from 9am) for the rest of the day.

  • Can I have an earlier check-in or later check-out time? +

    Please get in touch in advance and we'll always do our very best to accommodate you. However, please note that we tend to be fully booked at weekends, so it may not be possible to let you know for certain until the day of arrival.

  • How do I reach you from the train station/coach station? +

    Our serviced apartments are within a twenty-minute walk from both the Train Station and the Coach Station.

    Taxi – A taxi from the either station will cost you approx. €12.00

    Public Bus - These run every 20 mins from Eyre Square which is a 3-minute walk from the coach or train station. It’s the 401 bus and it costs €2.30 per person

  • Where should I park? +

    We have parking on site and you will receive a code for the car park by text on the day of arrival. Our reception is in the car park so once you have parked you can check in.

  • How do I check in? +

    Reception is open 7 days a week and is in the Car park. You will receive a code by text on the day of arrival which you must enter to the pad at the entrance of the car park to gain access. If for some reason you don’t receive it our pedestrian entrance is open, and you can come through here to the Reception on the right. We will help you from here. Parking is not designated.

    You collect your keys from Reception in the car Park.

    For those of you who took advantage of our Advance Rate, we need to see the card you used to pay with online, along with photo ID.

    You can pay in cash or credit card on arrival. If you pay by cash, you may also be asked for a photo ID and a credit card for security.

  • What if I am arriving late? +

    Although the Jameson Court is staffed 24/7, our Guest Relations team finishes at 9pm Saturday to Thursday and 10pm on Friday nights. Of course, it is possible to check-in later than this but it would be helpful to know in advance so that we can arrange your check in.

  • Do you take a security deposit? +

    At times our guest relation team believe that a deposit is necessary. This security deposit will range from €200-€400 per apartment at check in. We don’t always ask for deposit but at times we will. This is taken as a pre-authorisation on your credit card or charge on your debit card. This is refunded on your departure day. This is standard policy across all hotels.

  • Where can I eat? +

    With plenty of bars and restaurants right on our doorstep you will have plenty to choose from. There are 2 Michelin Star Restaurants in Galway, so Jameson Court is your perfect base for a culinary adventure.

    With full kitchen facilities in each apartment and a Supermarket right across the road you can cook in if you prefer. The Choice is yours.

  • Where do I get Breakfast? +

    We provide a starter complimentary pack of fresh milk, tea and coffee and even some chocolate biscuits. Should you wish to rustle up a larger breakfast or require any more of the above items, there is a supermarket right across the road.

    If you prefer breakfast out there is plenty of choice right on your doorstep. Try the Gourmet Tart Company renowned for its freshly baked pastries brown breads and croissants or the Lovely Ground overlooking Galway Bay.

  • Can I bring my own food? +

    Yes, you can. It's one of the great things about staying in one of our serviced apartments. You have so much flexibility and can really make yourself at home. Feel free to bring food with you from home or pop out to one of the local supermarkets or delis right on your doorstep.

    Having a well-equipped kitchen in your apartment means that you can eat what you like when you like.

  • What will I find in the kitchen? +

    In addition to our complimentary starter pack (fresh milk, tea and coffee and even some chocolate biscuits), we also provide olive oil, salt and pepper. From full-size ovens, fridge freezers, microwaves through to mixing bowls, our apartments come fully stocked with all utensils, crockery and appliances. If you are staying a while and there is an essential piece of cooking equipment that you can't live without and we don't supply it, we will do our best to get it for you.

  • What other items are in the Apartment? +

    Each apartment has:

    • Iron and an Ironing Board
    • Hairdryer
    • Separate Washing Machine and Dryer (we don’t provide the Detergent)
    • Washing up Liquid, Dishwasher tablets and refuge bags
    • Dish Cloth, Scrubber and Drying cloths.

    Items on Request:

    • Travel cots and high chairs are provided free of charge but must be requested in advance
    • Video Library – accessible during reception hours with videos for all ages
    • Choice of Board Games
    • Colouring Books for the Smaller guests
    • Adapters – Subject to availability

  • Can I bring my pet? +

    We accept pets upon request but under the following terms

    1. A non-shedding pet - This must be adhered to as it is impossible for us to get the hair off our couches in time for our next guest
    2. House Trained
    3. We require a deposit of €100.00 on a credit card from guests on check-in if they have a pet. If there is additional cleaning the deposit will be lost
    4. The pet may not be left in the apartment barking so as to disturb other guests
    5. Pets have to be registered on check-in. If you do not register your pet you will be charged.
